Service charges provided by Newark Beacon
A service charge is the method by which a landlord recovers the costs incurred in providing services in communal areas (that is, the parts of the site that are shared between various tenants) at a multiple let estate/building. The Newark Beacon includes all Service charges in the rental cost.
Separate chargeable services
Please note that the Centre does provide chargeable services which are separate to those
noted above. These include and are not limited to:
• Post franking
• Telephony services
• Room hire
• Printing
• Laminating

Broadband Provision
Connection to the internet at Newark Beacon is provided via SDSL (symmetric digital subscriber line) and wireless services for shared spaces. Access to the internet is shared by companies within the centre and will therefore be a contended service.
Users are required to provide their own Hardware (Router/Firewall, Network Switch, Cabling) and anti-virus/web filtering protection. Each office will be provided with a single data port for internet connectivity and the customer will be assigned a Static Public IP address.
The internet connection service is a tiered service; you pay for the level that fits your usage.
