PRESS RELEASE: newark beacon helps take camino HR on a joURNEY THROUGH TIME

Local businesswoman, Jane Rawlins, is launching a brand new venture in Newark this month, inviting people with an interest in British history and heritage on a unique holiday experience.

Starting with a one or two week tour that takes a small group of travellers on a 10,000 year journey - from Neolithic to Medieval times in week one and from Tudor to modern Britain in week two - Camino Tours is anticipated to prove popular with overseas visitors and UK residents alike.

Inspired by Jane’s passion for travel and heritage, the specialist touring company will run alongside her thriving employment consultancy business – Camino HR - both now ‘virtually’ based at Nottinghamshire’s popular Innovation Centre, Newark Beacon.

The Beacon’s virtual office service now provides Camino HR, and Camino Tours, with a phone answering service, reputable address, meeting spaces and training rooms, whilst day-to-day business is conducted on client premises or in her home office.

“When we decided to start up Camino Tours, we knew it was time to take the next step in leasing a ‘virtual office’.” Said Jane.

“Having a reputable office base is essential, particularly in the consumer market place. It gives us a professional image whilst being extremely cost-effective,” she continued.

As a customer of Newark Beacon, Jane has also learned a lot from attending free workshops and some one-to-one marketing and business development coaching sessions.

“The Beacon has been a brilliant move for us in every way. I had plenty of support through business advice that has really helped me to focus on the launch of Camino Tours, whilst taking on an additional person to support my HR company’s growth.”

Oxford Innovation’s Incubation Director and Business Advisor, David Smith explains: “As part of our service we offer support in all aspects of starting, running and growing a business. We truly thrive on our customers’ success. Jane’s is a great news story and an inspiration for the growing number of people starting up in business these days.”

Jane is currently inviting anyone interested in her historic tours to come along on a reduced-price weekend break in the Heart of England to explore their favourite historical period.
